Early music at Tirol Castle

The Soirees at Tirol Castle are held every year in June and July, on five Thursday. The outstanding percormances of medieval and Renaissance music come with a rich historical side programme and are set against the background of the impressive Castle, making a medieval spirit come alive. After the concert will wait a highlight for you: the walk back to the centre of the village Dorf Tirol will be illuminated by more than a hundred torches.

Grand Prix of Merano

The racing season at the Maia Racecourse is brought to a climax with the steeplechase which is linked with the National Lottery.

Traditional Grape Festival

Saturday 16th October and Sunday 17th October 2010
Parade through the town of Merano with town and village bands, decorated carriages and groups in traditional costumes - various concerts on the Kurpromenade.
